Tom Geffken defies the weather Gods to please the summer series music lovers.
Friday night was here again and it was raining for a good part of the day. Looking east at about 6:30 I wasn’t sure whether the weather was going to break in time to have the performance outside or inside for the first time this music season. The decision was made at the last minute to have it outside with great trepidation. This night though the stars would shine in our favor. As the music started at 7, people started making their way into the seats as Tom Geffken drew them in like the pied piper. By the end of the evening the stars were out in full and few seats were left un-sat in both under the awning and out on the grass. What can I say but “a great show by Tom”. Hopefully we can get Tom to come back in the future.
