The beautiful day turned to black as night only lit by the lightning strikes that flashed across the sky like strobe lights from the Gods. But the natural music this night was only eclipsed by the music inside the gallery provided by East Chicago Joe. As fire truck after fire truck wailed by responding to three house fires spawned by natures powerful display of raw power, the audience inside was responding to a different kind of raw power, the power of Joe’s voice as he electrified the audience with tune after tune igniting his own brand of fireworks.
So for those of you who stayed away because of a little lightning and thunder I’m sorry that you missed the real show here at the Gallery in the form of East Chicago Joe.

Friday night was here again and it was raining for a good part of the day. Looking east at about 6:30 I wasn’t sure whether the weather was going to break in time to have the performance outside or inside for the first time this music season.
